Concept with illustrative figures. The owner asks for a projection of her revenue from November 2026 to April 2027. Store Mi estimates $1,050,400, 8% more than the same period a year earlier, with December as the best month. She then asks what it would take not to work on Sundays. With a stand-in for Centro, not yet hired, for $580 a week, she would have 26 Sundays and 234 hours off. Projected revenue is unchanged and estimated profit goes from $250,740 to $235,660.

    Origin

Built at the counter, not in a boardroom.

Alex Rusev and Lia Antúnez created Store Mi in Valladolid, at the counters of their shops, Conesencia and Mika. They wanted their own sales to tell them which days to open and when they could afford to grow.

“Lia and I built Store Mi to put the power of a global company in the hands of anyone running their own business, so they can earn more, get their time back and decide how big they want to become.”
